For the first time, abstracts received for FOMMS 2027 will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Abstracts may be submitted at any time during the submission window.

All abstracts submitted during each of the date ranges below will be grouped together and reviewed as part of that review batch:

• 25 September - 23 October 2026
• 24 October - 20 November 2026
• 21 November - 18 December 2026
• 19 December 2026 - 22 January 2027
• 23 January - 19 February 2027
• 20 February - 31 March 2027

Authors will be notified of the outcome of their submission as soon as possible following the completion of each review batch.

This rolling review process gives authors greater flexibility to plan their attendance at FOMMS 2027 and provides additional time for any required visa application. Upon acceptance, authors may request an invitation letter to support their visa application.

All abstracts will be considered on their own merits, regardless of when they are submitted during the submission period. International authors who may require a visa are encouraged to submit their work early.

• Download the Word template by clicking on the "Download Abstract Template" button on this page.
• Prepare an abstract following the template instructions.
  • FOMMS abstracts should consist of four main sections covering the background/aims, methodology, results and conclusions of the work.
  • The abstract should be at least 1 page long and no more than 2 pages long.
  • Select 3-4 keywords from the keyword list and include them in your abstract.
• Convert your file to pdf format.
• Follow the abstract submission process by clicking on "Submit a new abstract".
• Your abstract will be reviewed. If changes are requested, you will be able to submit a revised version by clicking on "Submit or revise an existing abstract".

Each participant may present only one abstract.

Authors are responsible for checking the status of their submissions via the conference website. Notification of abstract decisions will be sent by email, and abstract status will also be updated on the conference website.
